Since 1997 I work for OMNITEL, Lithuania. It is the largest mobile operator in the Baltic States. Main technologies that I work with:

  • Gembase 4GL for OpenVMS - for database applications.
  • Java - mainly for integrational purposes: Gembase/OpenVMS combination with Java using JNI, WebServices, but not limited to.
  • SQL - integrational projects between various databases management systems.

As IT person, I could also do something in C++, HTML, could give you an opinion on Java server-side technologies, have expierence with PGP (e.g. GnuPG) while integrating it into legacy systems. Due to economical background I am able to understand business needs beyond IT specifics. Since my work focus currently shifts from programming to creating software architecture, such educational background helps a lot.
